New Mill

The New Mill, Saltaire.

Built in 1868 as an extra spinning mill. Its decorative chimney is modelled on the campanile of the Santa Maria Gloriosa Church in Venice.

After days of being full of cold and not feeling up to doing much it was good to have some energy back today. It was a day with a mixture of chores, jobs and a catch up with a couple of friends, then an productive evening planning a Totally Locally Saltaire launch over a large glass of red wine.
