The Wood & Motion

This shot has been taken from a tribal village in Purulia, West Bengal. Like may part of our country, most of Purulia is under arid zone resulting in soil erosion and low fertility in land. To protect desertification, the forest department, and the local government bodies have taken initiative to plant specific vegetation and trees. In front of this series of plantation, a tribal women is in search of her herd of sheep during this hot and humid summer.
