We lost him today. Along with his nest buddy. It was only day 6 but they were both doing so well, getting stronger every day and eating consistently. I knew they had a good chance - but not to be.

They were simply 2 little freshly hatched birds and most would pass them by and offer them no importance. They have a value that may completely escape us and indeed be of little interest to most. Yet they do, it is not decided by us , the best we can hope for is to recognise it, and by doing so recognise something in ourselves.
