Next job

We're all finding it a bit frustrating operating without a home office, so here it is. This will keep me busy for a few hours.

In other news, I had a most interesting encounter today.
In the waiting room of an office where I had to pick something up, a lady started a conversation with me. She had a walker and was, to be quite truthful, frail. She was originally from London and had been in Canada 40 years.
Sharp as a tack, and talking a mile a minute, she told me she was looking forward to August 20th when she would receive a very special communication from Buck House. Her daughters' friends in London had organized it as a special treat.

"Oh,how old is your daughter?" I asked. 78 she proudly replied. "I'm 99 and the special letter will be from the Queen" she beamed.

I do hope she makes it.

Ah well. Until tomorrow....
