Infestation

The best I can do for a bird blip today: a hand painted river rock I picked up from my favorite place in all of New Zealand, the penguin haven of Oamaru. As for the bug hitching a ride on the penguin's back, that's an Asian Spotted Ladybird Beetle. Ever since I moved into my house last October, my room has been infested with these little guys. They're all over the walls, they bang against my lamps at night, I find them on my clothes when I leave the house. I haven't the heart to eradicate them and they just keep coming anyway, so for now I at least have an aphid-free bedroom.
