Jewelz sporting her 'snow' boots for bedtime!!!

Not, thankfully, that we have any snow in the house!!! So why the boots?

Well, for some time now she has struggled to get up on the polished wooden bedroom floors where she chooses to sleep! Not on the carpeted hallway or even on her cushioned bed in the bedroom (where she starts in order to get her treat)........no! She chooses the floor where she can get no grip! That, combined with a bit of arthritis, leaves her scrabbling round on the floor for quite a while before being able to lever herself up into standing. It had got to the point where I would wake up in the middle of the night with her struggling and would have to get up to help her up.

Solution.....rubber soled boots! :)
Now she can get up with relative ease.
