Sitting quietly on the sofa this morning, there was to be only one lesson in school this morning, before the coach would arrive to whisk off the choir to the O2 for Young Voices.

I asked our daughter whether she was looking forward to today. She simply couldn't contain herself any more and leapt spontaneously into the air in an expression of excitement.
