Mudding!

Today I put mud on the walls. Really enjoy this bit, but still a bit rubbish. Never have enough patience for this job which is something I need to sort.

Best bit is that most of the drywall is hung with the tapered edges near each other which makes mudding that much easier. It'll take a couple of goes to get this right but the first job is really to get the mud in to the gaps and get started. Then we'll sand down and remud for a smooth finish.

In the US you only mud (plaster) the edges. In the UK you plaster the whole wall - or at least that's my understanding.
