If you can't beat them...

Looking towards Keswick.

The day began with the usual Wednesday routine clickychick took FredaH into town shopping while I stayed at home waiting for the shopping to be delivered.

After lunch when CC arrived back she suggested we went out blip hunting. As I am unable to walk far until after the operation and am trying to avoid indoor blips (in preparation for confinement while convalescing) all I had in the camera were some shots of things in the garden. Obviously going out was a no brainer.

We decided to go along the "old" Keswick road looking and hoping for some bright spots in breaks through the cloud. We weren't particularly successful but chose a good parking place and started taking shots. You will notice a car further down the road in the shot. This belonged to two people also taking photos. So we set up our tripods one each side of the road taking shots and hoping for some good light. Soon we were joined by the other car! The occupants got out took a shot in each direction then got back in and drove off.

By my standards I had taken a lot of shots and my hands were frozen, so I retired to the car to review them and was soon joined by CC. We quickly decided a nice cup of tea at home was called for! Of these many shots this is the one which appealed most.
