My car was stolen last night.
Because of it I had to go to the police station to give notice of the theft and then since I didn´t go to work I thought my partner and I could go to the supermarket for some needed items and I saw these pierced pots traditionally used to roast chestnuts.
They used to be sold at street fairs but we don´t see them much anymore. The pierced part was used for the chestnuts and the lower part for the coal.
There I was looking at the pots when I got a call from the police. My car had been found. Only my back pack was missing all the rest was intact. Apparently the young delinquent had no drivers licence and was stopped by police during the night.
I collected the car took it to the wash. Another call from the police. My backpack had also been found.
Needless to say I´m very happy with the police work. They where very expedite and efficient. I wanted to make a contribution for their Christmas feast. Turns out they don´t have one. We where only doing our job, they said.
I´m very impressed. I going to write them a tank you letter.
