Making Cakes

Emergency blip (and No 1 will HATE this one - not only is it a blip where she is pulling a funny face, but I've sneaked in a picture of her 'friend' (the one who has the motorbike!).

News from the "piste". No 2 was having a great time and her skiing was really improving (you can tell there's a but!!??) ...BUT...someone packed a vomiting virus in their luggage, and now 10 kids and 2 staff have been confined to their rooms until they feel better. No 2 was one of the unlucky ones.

I don't know whether she's more upset about being sick or missing out on the snow fun. I hope she feels a bit better tomorrow (she said it was a 1-2 day bug). It won't be much fun travelling back on a bus for 2 days with 30 kids throwing up in the back!

Oh well - at least I don't have to put up with the smell or dirty bedding (is that the wrong thing for a caring mum to say out loud?).

pps . Late night news on No 2 from the school (office staff working late tonight!) No 2 is much better - back to her bubbly self. Hitting the slopes again tomorrow. (pheow - that's a relief!)
