A bit of history

Joined the children of the BB in the ringing chamber of the tower this evening for a lesson in campanology. Then stayed for some of the bell ringing practice. Learnt a lot myself. There are eight bells in our tower.

Didn't have a blip so decided on this piece of history. The first peal of bells to be rung there, in 1904.

I discovered I won't be going any higher in that tower. The ringing chamber is reached by stairs but after that there are too many ladders!
