Two yearlings
Yesterday evening Angie had two wisdom teeth pulled.
My only previous experience with wisdom teeth was so gruesome I will never forget it. Some 40 years ago, my first girlfriend had hers operated out at the Middlesex hospital in London where she worked. I visited her an hour after she returned to the ward. Looked like someone had used a big sledgehammer, then stuffed her mouth full of cotton wall balls. Blood everywhere and what was left of a face was black & blue.
Angie's "pulling" went well and apart from being very sleepy no serious pain. However she refused to be the subject of a close up Blip portrait!
So while she had a lie in, I went for a walk in Ottobeuren with the dogs. Took a shot of the Basilica with the market place water sculpture in the foreground. Wanted to dedicate it to a fan of these,Purback David. Then noticed the water flow had been turned off for winter. Will have to wait until spring.
Walked through the town and towards the Bannwald, meeting the dogs vet who was walking her dog. Strangely Luna did not give her the normal greeting for passers by even though it was 10 days since Luna last saw her, for her annual jab!
Then followed an hour of snow fights and pure fun. Flash acted like a puppy. He adores snow and snow balls more than frisbees. Poor Luna didn't stand a chance, she was much too slow. Great time had by all and when we got home. we joined Angie in having an afternoon snooze!
Hope you have as good a day as we did.
