Wainwrights yard

Kendal town centre has a fair few "yards" with shops and stuff on, they're more like alley ways. I doubt you'd design a town centre in this way but it does lend a certain quaintness to the town and lead to little out of the way shops and some long narrow pubs as well.
This is the view from the booths end of Wainwrights yard next to the nice little crafty gift shop Armstrong Ward, one of the little gems hidden down in a yard.
