Ripley

Today I was in Ripley a place I knew of but had never visited.
On a bleak rainy and cold day it didn't look that appealing, but in weather like this where does?
It looks as though it's suffering as a high street, boarded up shops, for sale signs, charity shops, A boards desperately trying to entice customers in and a generally lack lustre and unloved appearance that is not uncommon in modern day britain.
