From the ridiculous to the sublime

Following yesterday’s piece of folly today’s picture is a bit more traditional; a beautiful early evening sky pinking in the sunset.

We had a good day, travelling this morning to Leamington Spa to visit an ex-neighbour who along with her husband have been spending the last year or so doing up a large 1950’s house. Although still not finished they have moved in and the results are very impressive with six bedrooms, four bathrooms, six loos and a garden the size of a football field. Located on a very pleasant tree lined avenue, this could have been included in the series of Grand Designs.

In the evening we met up with Emma and went to the RSC to see Wendy and Peter Pan; an excellent performance.
