With their bottomless capacity for eating dry bread, the ducks, geese and swans at Drumpellier Loch are quick to forget the social niceties. If you move to the edge of the water they rush towards you as though you are a divinity! Then they spot not only your lack of hand-into-poly-bag activity but also the less satisfying camera-raised-to- eye position and they abandon any attempt at witty banter! My mum called that cupboard love!
