Blackbird: Hop!

Perkier in large ("L").

I went out with my macro lens to photograph droplets. I was raining persistently so I knew that I'd get soaked (I did...), but the light was fading, and I know that my day would just disappear...
As soon as I got out into the main garden, I saw the blackbirds hunting for worms on the lawn.
Hop, hop, STAB! Hop, hop, STAB!
I love the way that they hunt... I crouched at the edge of the lawn, and this male came surprisingly close: it is a shame that the light wasn't better, but I liked the droplets on his plumage.
