And I'm intent on getting to the bottom of why my new energy supplier has emptied my bank account and tipped me into the red overnight due to a ludicrously huge estimated gas bill (the promised email asking me for a meter reading has never arrived.....though oddly enough they sent out an unexpected real-life meter reader for the electricity bit last week.....he declined to read the gas meter while he was there.....)

BTW, today is National Curmudgeons Day (celebrated on the anniversary of W C Fields' birthday), I'll be living the dream.........
