Seaweed chips

I like eating wild foods but haven't tried seaweed, until today. Yesterday I harvested some bull kelp (rimurapa) from the south coast and dried it overnight. You can eat it raw, but this evening I chopped the kelp into chips and cooked them in a wok. I figured the kelp was done when, after a minute or so on a high heat, the chips started jumping out of the pan.

They tasted pretty good, especially with a glass or two of red wine.
