ABERUTHVEN

Travelled down very early to a meeting in Dunblane.
Lots of flooding in Tayside and Perthshire.
Managed to get away sharp in anticipation of approaching bad weather.
Stopped at Aberuthven for ten minutes, on the way home.
The light was coming through the clouds,
last chance for a blip,
before starting to fade
(although nights are drawing out all of a sudden)
There was misty rain which trashed most of the images
with beading on the filter which I was continually wiping
or moisture spots on the digital images
It also bleached out the colour from some of the stronger tones.
However, I was lucky to get this as by the time I was packing up
and getting back on the road the wind was howling
and the rain was lashing down.
Not a fun drive back to Aberdeen.
