Quoting Marilyn

There are so many quotes attributed to Marilyn these days that are just plain wrong and very frustrating. Even in some of the older books some of the quotes are questionable depending on the sources but the internet has made things so much worse.
Even Marilyn was wary of being misquoted admitting that when she was a child she believed everything in the movie magazines and wanted to be sure that is a fan believed she said something it was something she actually said.

So in reality unless there is a recording of her actually saying it the quote may not be real and even if it's something she wrote on a letter or telegram some how some people still get it wrong.

So I'm off the brush up on my quotes so at least I can jump in with a correct one if necessary.
Now about all those fake photos going around.........
