One small step to saving a life

Just after Christmas I did a very charitable thing and signed up to be a bone marrow donor. A package came through the post today where I had to swab my cheeks and post it back. I'm feeling quite proud of myself but secretly hoping if I'm a match I can go the easy route and sit with a drip in my arm for a few hours. I don't fancy an operation but if I can save someone then so be it.

I really need to go and give blood too.
