Piselli a la Fiorentina
My second night in Zurich involved far less Prosecco than last night, which is a good thing as it's about a million euro per bottle here. Paying for things in Zurich feels a bit like being in Colombia, where you're seeing quite a few extra zeros for every purchase you make. Unfortunately the exchange rate is here not nearly so good.
In any case, tonight we had the evening in. My friend Bec and I were privileged to have been made a lovely dinner by friend Bec's flatmate Jakob. He made Piselli a la Fiorentina - broken down, it's pasta with pancetta and peas topped with gorgonzola. Simple. Delicious!
