Tuesday: Public Telephone

Today has been bitterly cold and pretty snowy, on and off.  At lunchtime I stood staring out of the window for ages before I could steel myself to pop out for a walk.  I am trying to be a bit better about making sure I get out of the building daily - on the whole, I have meetings that can take care of that but not always.  Anyway, I forced myself so here you have a contribution to the 'One Street' series - this is on the street where I work.

Can we agree to banish staff management from our jobs?  It would make life so much easier.......

Yesterday, I finished reading 'The Man With The Golden Gun' by Ian Fleming.  I have read quite a few of the Bond books - it was OK but not the most exciting of plots.  I think there is a reason it isn't one of the ones that is shown that often on TV.  I had to look up the villain to remind myself who played him (Christopher Lee as Scaramanga - if you're interested).
