Goat Skin Sellers, Christmas Day

I walked out of my hotel, saw a herd of goats next to a man selling goat skins on the corner of the road. I did wonder if the poor goats knew that this was to be their destiny. At the end of the day as I returned to my hotel, I nearly tripped up on a goats foot that had been left in the gutter. Yuck! However, apparently goat skin is a big trade in Ethiopia, used for purses as well as artist's canvases.
