Out and about on the bike

Headed out early due to the weather forecast suggesting the weather could deteriorate later in the morning. Should have started earlier but sorting the computer as well as making sure I was well wrapped up delayed the start of the ride.

Tucked the camera in my pocket just in case but had planned to keep cycling as far as possible to try and improve my fitness. However..... true to form spotted the water streaming through Hutton Le Hole and applied the brakes. Hopped off the bike glad to get some air back in the lungs following the ascent from the main road.

Managed to stay focused on the rest of the ride and concentrate on pedalling. The beaters were again out chasing the poor pheasants towards the guns just outside of Lastingham. No blips on offer and having struggled up Cropton bank was glad to head downhill as the rain became rather persistent.
