Diary of a student midwife...

Today was a lazy day. I nodded off on the sofa whilst reading my trust guidelines on caring for women in labour in preparation for my delivery suite placement which starts on Friday night. My first three shifts are Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, 7pm until 7.30am. Drawn the short straw there haven't I! But I can't wait, hopefully soon I'll be well on my way to my 40 catches!

And my Midwives magazine came today, which made me smile!
