YES a blue sky day

What a day, it was wonderful. This was taken at first light to show the blue sunny start - just in case it changed. It didn't, but I forgot to take another blip.

We decided to give the chain saw an airing and had a good time practicing on a recently felled tree - left for me to try out my logging skills. Writing this now reminds of the joke of a little old lady asking a man working in a hole the best way to get to Carnegie hall. 'Keep practicing mam' was his reply. And we will.

The problem with the chain saw is knowing when and where to stop. There is much to go at but the clearing up is hard work.

In recent minutes a mauve cloud has covered the blue sky from the east and an orange glow has replaced the sunshine from the west. It has changed from beautiful to ugly.
