Morning walk

This morning daughter #2 arrived unexpectedly as the Central Line was experiencing severe delays yet again. I drove her to the nearest British Rail line so that she could get into work by an alternative route. On the way back I decided to stop off at Connaught Wateras I had actually remembered to pop the camera in my car.
I had hoped to get a good shot of some of the many birds that live here but not very far into my trek round, the battery ran low! Before it conked out I took a few shots, including this rather well watered tree . I like the idea of the' One Tree' project here on Blip so I may use this as my 'one tree'.
