Rainy Season

The rainy season in Jakarta has been interesting since I arrived. Sometimes it rains most of the day. This past weekend it was glorious and sunny the whole time. Other times there is pounding, soaking rain in the nights. Last night we had the first thunderstorm I experienced here ! Being on the 14th floor, it was so loud and so bright that I thought I was actually in the middle of the storm.

Through it all I've been trying to capture a good sunset photo. Even on sunny days, it seems to get cloudy right around sunset, and I come up with nothing. Tonight I finally got a little closer!
