Blanket of Stars Over the Old Station, Motukarara

Quick blip tonight, taken on the way home at the old Motukarara station house on what is now the Little River Rail Trail.

I'll come clean - it's not my best star shot but it was valuable seeing the sight in the flesh as I'm hoping to return to this spot with some more suitable lenses (this is shot wide open on a 'nifty fifty' 50mm 1.8G lens). A wider angle to get the whole scene will really work. Plus I'll need to come later - just after 10.45 is not really late enough as there was still some lights on nearby...
