Oops! Mistaken identity.
Despite the absence of a dragon, I have always assumed that this statue in Devonshire Square, London was St George. Stopping to blip him today, I found out that it is, in fact, King Edgar! King Edgar granted the surrounding land to 13 knights, on condition that they each perform three duels - one on land, one below ground and one on the water. Which they did. I have learned something today. Thanks, blip land!
