Hey there blimpey boy

Flying in the air so fancy free.

This is the blimp that has been harassing us for the past few days as it has been buzzing the golf course for the farmers open. Not sure why it's heading there today as it finished yesterday.

Today didn't start well, after walking the dog and fixing breakfast I sat down at my desk to an alarm on my work phone (which I leave at my desk and not take to bed) saying I was 15 min late for an area team meeting. So I check into the conference call - 70 people on it - and stupidly say my name when prompted. I'm not sure, but I reckon that it came up that I had joined the conference late.....

Then babe was very restless all day, wanting to be taking out for a walk every 5 min or so. I eventually took her for a run as I didn't manage a gym session.

I also booked my flights for England coming back in march for friends wedding and my stag do. Struggled to do that as credit card was declined as thought it was fraudulent activity. Then I tried to book flight from Manchester to heathrow in order to get down there on my last day to fly out back here. I want to know if they would waive my checked baggage fee as I was doing one big BA flight. But the call centre was based in India so no one knew what I was asking and they kept telling me to cancel my booking and rebook outbound to heathrow and return from Manchester which is not actually possible on the website. So I bit the bullet and paid the £10 fee, and used 5000 avios for a measly £30 off the fare.

I'd been hanging off buying the ticket until now as best man was trying to arrange stag do and since I wanted to buy and now the prices have gone up. So no joy there either. Plus wanted to reserve an exit row seat but they were all taken already. Argh!

Anyway in better news I picked mum up from the airport after a very uneventful flight. Actually arrived 30 min early. Took about an hour from landing to getting to curbside. Picked her up and went straight to albertsons to get her OAP bus pass. Unlimited travel for 30 days for just $18.

Babe was pleased to see grandma again.
