Roadworks on Peterborough Street

I took a walk around the city this afternoon. I noticed that had removed a lot stuff from the Victoria Apartments and were busy taking more things out. On passing the Christchurch Public Library they was a lot of banging going on in there and some windows had been removed.

At the Isaac Royal Theatre they were working on connecting the old facade on the the new building. They hope to have that open this year. I also noticed the ducks are multiplying.. the ones someone is putting into the old sites that have water in them.

This shot shows the the RISE festival street art along with the other Street Art which is now covered over by a new wall. On the left of this shot is the Peterborough Library and the right is where the Christchurch Convention Centre was.
