Waiting for warmer!

Tell me this little house sparrow doesn't look miserable. And it's no wonder. Currently the temperature is 3 degrees Fahrenheit or minus 19 degrees wind chill. I was not at all inclined to head out for a photo walk today. This pretty little bird came to our bird buffet, which became the place to be in the neighborhood after I filled it up with sunflower and peanut chips this morning. Warmer temperatures coming by the weekend though. It might even reach 30 degrees. A heat wave!
