We'll have the swan

Today was the day me and the boy went to the wedding venue for our tasting menu. We enjoyed the food very much but we're much more picky than we usually would be as we had to take into consideration another 62 people's taste. We fell in love with both puddings but didn't think either the starters were appropriate. The lamb was very nice but very rare, perfect for our taste but can imagine it would leave some horrified especially when the view from the dining room is a field of sheep. We are hoping we can have another tasting session before we make a decision. More importantly the Malbec was fantastic so the wines sorted at least.

We later checked out the pub where the boy wants to calm his nerves before the ceremony. It opens at 11am, he will be drunk before he utters the words 'I do'.

The picture is of the fab wallpaper in the toilets of the venue, I do have a picture of a dessert but don't want to ruin the surprise for the blippers who are lucky enough to be inviting to the wedding of the year ;)
