Full swing

As Nikki and the wee man enter their final week in Australia they're determined to make the most of every moment they have left.

I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself today as I somehow managed to chalk off a large number of chores. After driving all over town, the wee man is now the proud owner of a new car seat and an IKEA high chair. I bled the radiators and re-pressurised the boiler. I went to the gym, ordered groceries, sorted the laundry and tidied my drawers. I also wandered through a few antique stores, looking for toy boxes and nested tables but alas I didn't find anything suitable. I even changed a bunch of direct debits that were coming out of my old bank account.

Haha. I've just realised that I'm nesting! I'm getting ready for the return of my family. It feels good.

I can't wait to have them both back x
