Misty

Took a taxi in to work today - after what seems like ages but really, it's only been 3 working days!! The day looked very misty/foggy and it never changed! This is the view from the other side of the building... Sheikh Zayed Road heading off south-wards towards the Capital (Abu Dhabi). Most of Dubai's skyscrapers are along this road.

Not much else to say about the day except work was fine (I made my team disappear), and we got taken out for a meal by friend Miriam and her mum. Arab Health has started and we saw some people getting into a fight over a parking space. There you go...

The brown building with pyramids on the top is the Fairmont Hotel and right next to it - the building that towers over it is the newly opened Conrad Hotel which I haven't checked out yet. Will stop there with the tour!!
