Oil painting of cranes on canvas
At my first glance I thought it was a Chinese ink painting because cranes are often the image under traditional Chinese artists' brush. The birds resemble long and healthy life. My father paints that quite often, too.
But this is a real oil painting, the first time I've ever seen, which looks quite close to the ink painting effect, without careful examination. What an intercultural masterpiece that integrates the east (theme) and the west (technique).
An interesting finding - so undoubtedly became my blip of the day, although I have had loads of photos today.
