The Moss

I managed to only take 2 photos today and neither were of the one thing I'd intended to take a photo of.

My daughter's school held a Scottish Afternoon today - every class performed two pieces. They'd already done it in front of the school on Friday for Burns Night but this one was for the parents. The school hall was packed and the kids of course did a brilliant job. My grasp of the Scots dialect isn't comprehensive so I did miss some of the references and less common words! 18 years up here and I'm still an outsider!

I had a little time to kill before the performance so went for a little wander around the nature reserve by the school. Didn't get very far as the paths were pretty flooded in places and I didn't have walking boots on - or that much time to spare to go all the way round.

Anyway, this tree was on my travels so I present my first pratted-about-with-by-applying-a-filter blip.
