It's rained all day in Houston today. Which I love. The rain makes everything look so clean, green, and pretty.

This is the deck in my backyard. And these are my 2 pit bull-mix puppies (they're almost a year) drinking from the rim of a flower pot. They have a nice, big bowl of fresh, clean water just a few feet away. But for some reason they seem to prefer the muddy water that accumulates in the flower pot plates.

Who can understand the mind of a dog?
