The Irish film Institute today at lunchtime

I was sitting outside the IFI having a coffee waiting for the movie to start and I spotted these spools inside door of the Irish Film Archive. I thought they looked interesting but you know how it is when you get home and upload to the computer you realised you didn't quite capture the effect. Anyway I went to see August: Osage County with Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts - it was about a very dysfunctional family - scary and realistic at the same time. Go and see it - but go with someone and then go for a chat afterwards - it was one of the those movies that you really need to discuss afterwards.
