Birthday socks (or was it Christmas?)

A grey day and a busy working weekend. I was a bit tired at the end of it and put my feet up for a little while. It was then that I re-encountered my socks. When I am working and especially if I think the work may be a little more challenging than usual, i like to wear favourite clothes which make me feel good. I don't often wear snazzy socks but I really like this pair which my daughter J gave me for my birthday (or was it last Christmas?)
What do you do to support yourself when you have got a challenging day coming up?
