New Year - Day Five

New Year's Dawn

The end of another New Year and we finally had an amazing sunrise (the others being just too grey/cloudy or downright rainy for a shot. Despite all the flooding and other calamitous weather around the area we went to everyone had a very good year - even the drowned rats who came back from one of the walks. I didn't make it to my favourite place in North Devon (that's Lynton & Lynmouth, lovly places) but I did get some nice walks in and more importantly got to see all my friends and family - when I only get to see some of them once a year at this it's a very worthwhile holiday.
