Fireside

Another wild day with many large waves piling in below the house. Lots of spume and water in the air between Houton Head and the Bring across in Hoy. Not a day for a spot of light weeding.

So, we went across to Stromness to visit Rebecca - she lives directly above the world reknowned bookshop. Rebecca has just completed some artwork for the Hoy Kirk. She was just lighting the fire and went to make us some coffee.

I'm just going to make my drizzle dressing to go with the avocado salad, CMC is about to make a tuna flan. It's back to the St Magnus Quadrille this evening.
