Sensible shoes

Been trying for years to get the kids to wear something more durable than the sneakers/canvas shoes they favour. All in vain.

Eldest starts high school tomorrow, sneakers are out, sensible leathers are in.

I remember my first day at high school. I am almost as in many knots for her tonight, as I was all those years ago!
