Being Tourists
Met two lovely girls this morning that had checked into the room. Had my cornflakes with milk.
Went to give out a couple of cvs. Got a potential trail at 11am tomorrow.
Took the bus and went into the city to meet Annabel. Waited at Circular Quay for a long time, the reason why was because Annabel had been hassled by masses of little Korean kids interviewing her and apparently the one that got the longest interview got $50.
We made our way over to the harbour bridge to climb up the pylon. It was only $13 to got up the pylon instead of $250+ to go on the arch of the bridge! So we were both laughing at them all when we had almost the same view as them. Beautiful selfies at the top. Headed back down and went to a tourist information place and tried to find some things to do. I am very keen to do skydiving for my 19th birthday. Think it would be very cool. We went to find the oldest pub in the rocks. The guy behind the bar asked if we were both from the east coast of Scotland as he could hear our accent which was so bizarre!! As we both really don't have a Scottish accent. Had a beer and some wedges outside. The wedges were amazing!
Walked past lots of nice shops, went to a cool shopping mall. We tried to find the monorail which had actually been taken away! Headed to China town. We got some nitrogen ice-cream and sat in 'friendship garden' and ate it there. The way they make the ice-cream is so cool.
Tram from central back to Bondi . Chatted to the two girls for a long time in the hostel for a long time. Had another early bed from all these late nights!!
Picture of us at the top of the pillar we climbed, got the opera house behind us!
