Night Fall on the Skykomish River
1/26/2014 ~ Night Fall on the Skykomish River, Monroe, WA
Another beautiful day in the Northwest. While the rest of the US has snow, rain, and freezing weather the Northwest has enjoyed a dryer than normal and warmer fall and winter. Snow pack is low and a lot of the ski areas are not having the business they normally would enjoy.
This could make for low water in spring and summer when the Salmon returns to spawn. There will most likely be some brown lawns as well.
