Drinking the vinegar...

Tomorrow is our nephew M's 2nd birthday. Our families got together today to open some presents, and enjoy a family meal out. It really was a nice afternoon.

I had a few good birthday pics to choose from, but this one makes me both laugh and cringe.

I find it an odd food fetish for a 2 year old, but M loves pickled cockles in vinegar. Not only does he get excited whenever someone mentions them, but after the cockles are finished, he drinks the vinegar!

One day when he is older I'll show him this, and I look forward to seeing what his reaction will be.
